This one-day seminar provides an introduction to GUI Test Automation It will present an overview of major test automation approaches/frameworks, which range from Perl scripts and the Record and Replay approach to keyword driven frameworks and frameworks used by Agile teams. It will cover current trends and the future of GUI test automation. Further the instructor will discuss how to select a test automation framework that fits your test automation needs and equally important how to decide if a specific project should be automated or not. In addition the session will include how to build a test automation team and managing test automation activities.(including offshore test automation) This tutorial is not tool specific and does not require preliminary knowledge of a GUI test automation tool.
